“Gender, Race, and Identities in Comics” – Exploring constructions of identity and representations of women and race across several genres of comics. Friday, August 30th at 8:30 pm in the Hyatt (Hanover F).
“Race, Gender, and Sexuality in Cosplay and Fandom” – The participants in this roundtable will discuss the intersections of and response to race, gender, and sexuality within comics fandoms and cosplay. Saturday, August 31th at 8:30 pm in the Hyatt (Hanover F).
