Unpacking From Dragon*Con 2012

Coulson Lives Fury Lies button, Cassie Hart Kelly illustrations, and more

Some of my Dragon*Con swag

I’m still unpacking and recuperating from Dragon*Con but I wanted to share some of the great stuff I got!

I was super excited to get Kevin Eastman to sign my copy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I also picked up a copy of Writing for Comics and Graphic Novels from Peter David who was gracious enough to sign for me.

One of the most unexpected bits of awesomeness has got to be the Coulson Lives Fury Lies buttons I got from some nice Shield agents at the parade.

The She-Hulk and Clone Trooper prints are both from Cassie Hart Kelly. I wasn’t previously familiar with her work  but it’s definitely worth checking out! Not pictured are the prints of April O’Neil, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Admiral Ackbar that I bought from her. I also added to my collection of magnets from Third Half Studios.

Finally, you’re probably wondering about the Sun Chips and hummus. Well, each day there were promoters passing out free samples by the Westin we were staying at. It just didn’t feel right posting a picture without one of the many, many bags of chips that are currently adjourning my counter.

That’s it for now. Stay tuned because I’ll be sharing the data from the Superhero Census soon!
